- Student must be thoroughly invested in learning this instrument and be willing to take the actions necessary to succeed in learning this craft
- Student must practice. Repeated lessons with no practicing will be grounds for dismissal from the studio.
- Student is responsible to notify the teacher if a lesson is to by canceled, 24 hours advance is requested. Excused absences will either be made up, or the necessary adjustments will be made for the following month's payment.
- Respect is expected for the teacher and the instrument
- Student/parent will pay for all lessons. Lessons that are missed due to illness or prior arrangements will be made up. Lessons that are canceled without notification will not be made up and will be charged.
- Parent must pay for the month in full at the month's first lesson. Late fee will be assessed if payment is not received by the end of the month and no further lessons will be taught. The next months lesson tuition will still be due.
- Provide encouragement to the student regarding recitals, studio classes, audition, etc
- Encourage daily practice
Teacher Responsibilities.
- To teach technic, sight reading, artistic expression, good practices, etc.
- To encourage study, to motivate and uplift ones natural talents.
- To demonstrate different aspects of the instrument.
- To guide and prepare for various auditions and interviews.
- To supply notice if need arises of lesson canceled or made up in advance,
